2003-present: Participant in Practice Partner Research Network (a nationwide quality improvement research network utilizing the EMR). Earned High Performance Award in 2005, 2006, and 2013; and Best Practice Award 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012, as well as Best Practice award 2010 for Medication Safety.

Medical Computing Activities
1983-1985: Medical Director, Digital Equipment Corp. Lifetime Health Screening Program, Washington State.
1987-1990: Developed database applications for Utilization Review and Monitoring and Physician Quality reports for Sound Health Network and Good Health Plan of Washington using KnowledgeMan and AWK. Authored some K-Man programming utilities.
1993-1994: Developed database applications for Disease Management for Coordinated Medical Care in Microsoft Access.
1997-2001: Implemented EMR in my private medical practice using Virtual Intern software on a Newton Message Pad. In 2001 obtained source code for Virtual Intern and released a not-copy protected version with several bug fixes and enhancements. (NewtonScript)
2001-present: Implemented EMR in my private medical practice with Practice Partner.
2002-present: Paperless in the office.
2006: Developed techniques for interface between Practice Partner and the CDEMS chronic disease management registry.
